You agree to hold FilmWorkTexas and its owners and representatives harmless in the even that damages of any kind are caused by users of this website or any association thereof resulting from the use of this website; This includes mental anguish caused by trolls or meanies – although we do our best to keep this rare.
Rules of Conduct and User Commitments

Users must be over 18 years of age to post notices or respond to notices on this site.

Users under 18 years of age who subscribe must do so with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian who will act on their behalf in submitting for projects.

If you cast or utilize as crew any person under the age of 18, you commit to get the consent of the parent or guardian of the individual minor with who you want to work.

You agree to use the services only in compliance with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

You agree to use this website and any products, services, or information for the intended purpose.

You agree that anyone suspected of misusing the products, services, or information on this website for any other than the intended purpose will be removed from the mailing list as well as barred from any future notices or access to notices.

You commit not to forward or share any passwords or email links to specific posts given to you as a result of your subscription to our website or mailing list with any third party who has not also subscribed.

You agree not to post fraudulent notices, notices for non-existent productions, productions related to adult entertainment (a.k.a. pornography) or notices posted for anything other than the intended use of acquiring submissions for cast or crew for legitimate productions in the state of Texas, the nature of which should be fully disclosed prior to the commencement of shooting.

You agree that if you submit a casting or crew notice during the free trial subscription period and subsequently cancel your membership prior to being charged, you will not be allowed to subscribe again without first paying the premium subscription when that is initiated.

You agree not to post memes, shameless self-promotion, or ads in any of our forums, on the casting or crew notice pages, or the event page. You may ask to be listed as a service provider or organization on our Resource Page (Contact Us). This is an ad-free space. Users who wish to promote themselves must do so by providing valuable content and information to the rest of the community in the form of answering questions in the forums, submitting informational or educational blog posts (Contact Us if you have expertise you’d like to share). Users can notify us of any such postings, and they will be promptly removed, and the user given a warning. Repeat infractions of this will result in the user subscription being terminated (without refund).

You agree to mind your own business and act with professionalism. If someone posts a notice with rates you find offensive, simply scroll down and find one more suitable for your level of experience and/or requirements. You may not badger the poster for their listing. This is a professional space and harassment and bullying behavior will not be tolerated.
User Restrictions
We want the Texas filmmaking community to utilize the services on this site to further their individual career goals and productions, but not at the expense of the safety and well-being of others or the integrity of our community. You therefore agree not to engage in the conduct described below (or to facilitate or support others in doing so):

You may not upload viruses or malicious code, false information on notices, or do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working or appearance of our services or harm any user of this site.

Account Termination Information
We can remove any content or information you share on the website or when utilizing our services if it violates any of our Terms of Use. We can refuse to provide or stop providing all or part of the services to you if you repeatedly infringe other people’s safety, intellectual property rights, personal information or create risk or legal exposure for us and will seek legal action where necessary.
Subscription/Membership Information
Informational content on this site is open to all users who subscribe to the related tier for this website. Upon subscribing you may receive notices when new, relevant information is posted. We will occasionally notify you of any additional event, perks or information we deem to be of value to our community, or to ask for voluntary participation in polls or other community related information gathering. You may unsubscribe at any time. We are offering free subscription for a limited time while the community grows. However, be advised that when the content storage, web traffic and subscriber numbers reach a certain capacity, we will begin charging a low monthly rate for the maintenance of the website. You will be notified in advance of when and if this might occur. You are not obligated to remain a member when this charge is applied, and you will have the option to continue or unsubscribe.
Payment Information
This site and the access to community forums, events and resources is subscription based. If any activity, product or service is introduced and involves a fee, the related online payment service terms and conditions will apply and govern any monetary exchange (Patreon, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, etc.). Initial memberships are free, but a small fee is charged to members who post or view Cast and Crew Notices.
Delivery Details
This website and its related services and information are digital products only and all informational exchange and delivery will be by electronic means. Should a tangible product or service be created, or any product incur a charge see above payment information.
